Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Guest Services Representative to serve our guests during their stay. You will help plan fun activities on our glamping site, such as hiking excursions, fishing trips, etc. You will also be running food, drinks, or other materials to our guests . Our ideal candidate has at least two years of concierge or guest services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with all of their needs including helping with luggage and performing turn down service.
  • Run food and drinks to cabins or outdoor activity areas for guests
  • Plan activities for guests to enjoy such as fishing trips, hiking excursions, etc.
  • Provide customer service to every guest as they arrive.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of hospitality experience or related experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent customer relationship skills.

Overview


Columbia Woodlands is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our growing team! A self-disciplined and creatively motivated individual will thrive on our team. Duties and Responsibilities


  • Answer telephone calls and emails; direct these messages and/or calls to the appropriate staff
  • Help create budgets for departments and ensure budgets are followed
  • Monitor office supplies and order new supplies when necessary
  • Organize meetings and manage databases
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Active in posting jobs, interviewing, and making hiring/firing decisions with the owner
  • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements
  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports

    Qualifications and Skills


  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • At least 2 years of Customer Service Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Some Supervising experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills/attention to detail
  • Conflict management skills

Job description


We are seeking Banquet Servers to join our Food and Beverage team at Columbia Woodlands. The Servers are responsible for serving meals to guests at weddings, events, and general dining for our guests. Events include but are not limited to social gatherings, weddings, public events, corporate meetings.

Skills

  • The ability to take direction well, think quickly on their feet, as well as always have a positive attitude, even when under stressful situations.
  • Must be proactive and work unsupervised.
  • Upbeat personality and eager to work in the hospitality industry.
  • The ideal candidate for this position will have at least one year experience in a catering or restaurant setting.
  • Must be able to push, pull, carry heavy objects (trays, dish racks, glass racks ect.)

Tasks included, but not limited to:

  • Take and serve orders
  • Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when serving
  • Prepare tables for service with attention to detail for presentation and sanitation
  • Attend to guests upon entrance of event
  • Present menus and help guests select food and beverages
  • Keep up to date knowledge on all menu items
  • Helps with sitting guests as well as setting and clearing tables
  • Assist Lead Server in setting up/breaking down buffet or other tables and equipment
  • Set up and Clean up duties

At Columbia Woodlands, we are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements and Skills

  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry's best practices
